Wall of Honor
The Okaloosa County Commission on the Status of Women proudly presents the Women's Wall of Honor, honoring special Okaloosa County Women. The plaques are situated at the entrance to the library at the Fort Walton campus of the University of West Florida.

For a donation and completion of a form describing those contributions, the name will be placed on a plaque and a picture and bio will be placed in a book, at the wall site, highlighting each woman’s contribution. The first annual event was held in May of 2004. Each year the nomination is opened up with the target date for posting Mother's Day.  The nomination form must be submitted by April 15, 2008.  The ceremony will be held May 6, 2008.
